Portfolio import

Bring your whole watchlist in one file

Upload an Interactive Brokers statement, a TWS export or a plain list of tickers. We set a daily RSI alert on each one we track.

Where to get the file

Interactive Brokers

Client Portal → Performance & Reports → Statements

Choose Activity, a period that covers today, and format CSV.

Run it, then upload the file exactly as downloaded — the multi-section layout is expected.

Trader Workstation

TWS → File → Export → Portfolio

Export the portfolio view to CSV.

Any column headed Symbol, Ticker or Financial Instrument is found automatically.

Anything else

A spreadsheet, or a text file

One ticker per line is enough. So is any CSV with a symbol column.

Commas, semicolons and tabs all work.

What happens to the file

Is anything created before I confirm?

No. The first step only reads the file and shows you what it found: which tickers we track, which you already watch, and which we could not match. Nothing is written until you press the confirm button.

Is my statement stored anywhere?

No. The file is read in your browser and only its ticker symbols are sent. Nothing is written to disk, and positions, quantities, prices and account numbers are discarded before the request leaves the page.

What about options, futures and cash rows?

Skipped. An IBKR statement lists them in the same table as your stock, and an option contract is not something RSI applies to. Forex pairs are skipped here too — FX alerts are a separate add-on with their own pairs.

What if the file has more tickers than my plan allows?

You get alerts on as many as the plan holds, and the confirm screen names the ones left out before you press it. Nothing is silently dropped.

Can I run it twice?

Yes. Tickers you already watch are listed as such and skipped, so re-importing an updated export adds only what is new.

A ticker I hold was not found.

Either we do not track it yet, or it is temporarily paused. Search for it on the dashboard — if it is there, add it by hand and the import will find it next time.
